So today being Friday, met with our rep from Degis WiFi Internet, that looks like a great back up, but thought is try it, if it flows with enough horsepower use them as primary and Comcast as back up.
So then got an email from Star Talent saying they were too busy. BS, Real answer , they didn’t want to play with an MC , so oh well. What some don’t understand, don’t play with the club itself, you loose all 50,000 members of the club’s individual, business accounts. That means ever member who has their own company from insurance to other interests like car dealerships, to service centers and more now will not contract with Star. It’s just that simple. The club has a membership as vast and wide as you can imagine, sure they ride, fly and truck, and many nearly 40% are in the towing field. But all will follow and do business with those firms that are kind to the club. Such as Star Talent. They act all excited when I first called, but they decided that because of our no LDS approved pedigree , that we were not a firm to work with. Come to think of it, wasn’t Star one of those firms that me and Clark, investigated once in 2005. Sure they were on the far side of West Valley, but if I remember they handed us off to some photographer, who then handed us off to an agency that booked exotic dancers. If I’m right I know that after this long this agency has not grown up yet. Like many in Idaho, well the two in Idaho, one our Nurse GoodBody, Erin worked with one, Craze, who I will never book with. I tried to work with an outfit called Soliel that all turned sour. Until I stumbled on an agency a tiny agency out of Provo, that sent me talent. One was one of those Sister wives of that John what’s his name that you saw featured on an NBC special once. She looked good, but just could not break the glue with the agency.
I have thought on more than one occasion, of creating our own agency, one of seasoned talent that has actors that can model, not just models who try to act, an agency of Nashville caliber. But that takes a gal to head the thing up. Reason being and even as open minded as Utah has become, still angelic looking women of any age is not going into the office of an MC without a gal’s pic and sheepskin on the door.
So we have chosen Urban Talent Agency of salt Lake City and Boise as our talent agency.
Setting up the formal office here next week, which means by mid month April, I’ll have to get in touch with our sweet Laura, to move part of our Comcast service there. 2909 Washington BLVD.
Naw Star Talent here really stepped in it, they just don’t realize how deep. Since now all 50,000 Knytes members will now boycott that agency, as well as the brand names like HD and others. They will say otherwise that the LDS card does not play here, but I’ll guarantee it did. They can’t say upfront that was it, since that might be ethnically discriminatory. But I’ll give you a new set of tires for you Softail, if that was not the cause.
