Have you tried to find yourself in the phone book?

xd2A HOOKER TOW BLOG HEADER_thumb

Have you ever looked up your phone number in the phone book. Unless you have a landline like we do, but still if you primarily use a cell phone, your not listed, which in our business is one of the first places people look for us. Now you have two choices, send a scalding email, explaining to the phone book company they suck. Two call these idiots up that have no idea about towing, or for that matter specialty aviation.

Normally I’d be out for blood , but considering we’re in move mode now I’ll wait to update things, but damn it all to hell. The ongoing theme of our nation is that we’re poor. Or at least economically challenged. Yet it’s not just good old Obamabeenlyin or the nations government, it’s the damn lazy people . Especially corporate executives and sales outfits in much larger cities. We’re not just talking Dex, we are talking about all of them. If your not the shiniest bulb in the chandelier , your ignored.

Even if you get an updater notice, 80% of the time their computer kicked out the wrong 411. I have an idea, let’s put people in there to make a phone call to see if the 411 is accurate.

Then there are those search engines, the phone company, uses. Try looking up somebody YOU know is there that does something, and it’s not there. Even if the firm has been in business for several years.

The cure l8r tonight.

Quote of the Day:
A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices.
--William James
Romans 13:9-10“The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”
