Flying out of the Comfort Zone into bluer sky’s.

FLYTE breefs

Watching TV earlier and thinking that the Big Bang Theory has just about lost its octane, I began to think next Thursday I’ll be watching it in Utah, with little in Idaho except for LexiBelle, that’ll be retrieved very shortly, but everything else in Idaho will be for the greater amount history. All the pain, hurt, stress all of it, and what for? Chasing a bar gal, all the way from Wyoming here, when even she said Idaho was a dead end. The smart thing then would have been to dump this place and go back to Wyoming or at least Utah. Oh well, that is really history.

This move out this time is for good. It’s been sheer terror here, and I mean SHEER, no female contact at all and what little I did have isn’t even worth talking about.

At least I did get to smuggle one pair of Tammy’s pantyhose, cut them to pieces and used the panty for a steering wheel cover. Hey it works, that way I could have a little grab butt in the truck.

So many changes on the horizon, and yet already concerns. Going to already have to talk to Comcast, while the Internet thing came in at a price we can afford, the TV half, is a bit much. Considering that house rent, Internet all comes in at $700.00 the TV is a bit much at another $300.00, when you bring in only $800.00 that does not allow much squeak room, if any at all. But we’ll deal with that as we need to. Somehow the $115.00 for cable TV, which is high, they want an extra $100.00 on top of that. Maybe our gal Laura even though not her department , might could intervene there and see if there’s some rule bending room there.

If not keep Internet, do DirecTV, at $70.00 its doable.

Okay then, had every intention of grinding away at moving none essentials to storage, but Mother nature decided to unload on us here, so stayed in and tried to do business.

People ask all the time, if the Knytes can do the radio gig, why are you so concerned about money. Because radio stations, the equipment, licensing and building a new studio, is a bunch of bread to rake out even b4 you make one dollar. Now true any provider is going to cost, but do they need to scalp you? Don’t want to say our Comcast is that way, the big selling point is Laura. I really like her, too bad she lives where she does, would love to sit and have a cup with her. But cable tv, at the rate quoted was not bad, but couldn’t they shave off that extra months service and security deposit, to hook us up? Given that we are doing the Internet at near $300.00 which is within budget, but right now this old flying canine Marine, gets little money, for what I did, don’t you think they’d give me a member of the infamous BlackSheep Squadron VMA214, a break in rates?

One has to think as this year progress’s there’s going to be thousands of military from all branches coming home. Some complete, many coming home with body parts missing, mental problems, and the like. The last thing they need is to call up a telecom, or cable company , get hooked up, get in with a viewing routine, only to have it cut off, because they did not understand how much it really cost. Internet, business or residential is no big problem, but getting hit with a $300.00 install or cable bill each month, when they are only making at best $1500.00 and still having to pay in part for medical needs and things the VA don’t pay for, but is needed.

I don’t care if its Comcast, Cable-One, Time Warner, any of them, give America’s military a damn break. Look at it this way, except for a few minor scrimmages, we kept Al Quida out of your back yard. How about giving us a break, in a bit of entertainment? One of the reasons that HazzardAyre is on the air, is to bring to light these issues, and speak from the military aviators point of view, not some politicians.

Laura see if you can’t convince the powers that be to give me a bit of a break here on the cable tv side.

If I don’t catch you all Friday its because, SpeedConnect has pulled the plug.

By the way, gotta tell you this. And this was critical, and I got it fixed, sort of, but here’s the deal.

Good old Syringa, decided around noon, to shut my cell phone off. The peanut heads not thinking that hey look in toewing with it raining seriously , with two fatals in the works that 4 of my trucks were working, I couldn’t just drop everything and go pay them Wednesday into Thursday morning. That phone is a lifeline, I damn near missed a call for another big rig turnover had it not been for my landline. Fortunately I was able to convince those in power, that the bill will be taken care of on Monday.

What people especially telecom and utility providers don’t understand, government people , be it Social Security, Government retirement, Military pension etc, those payments come in on the 1st to the 5th of the month. Much of it is spent on obligations by the 15th the money flow for our club is the same. 90% of the club in both branches are military reassigned(retired) we pool our money each money besides what we need  to live on. But once its gone, it’s gone. That’s going to improve very soon with more of our currently deployed membership, being in area, but even then the pay check is once a month. Not twice a month as it is in private industry.

But that’s why we are here on and at HazzardAyre, to educate the none military the way life is for us who flew and fought for liberty.
