Last night we had every intention of doing a test run of HazzardAyre on XM, as we are in negotiations with them to establish the Hazzard County XM Channel. Be that as it may, there are two places in the Mountain West to uplink direct on Satellite. One happens to be in Salt Lake City at KSL AM 1160, the other is in Wyoming. Since one of the Knytes is a head guy at KSL, we will uplink from there. However tonight we had to go Internet to Cheyenne , then uplink. Meaning two hops. First our entry point kept dropping in signal strength, yippie, SpeedConnect. Two there was a analog hum that I couldn’t get rid of, need the other board, and for Eli and anyone else that wants to know, I got the board for broadcast for two packs of smokes, but it’s a hard wire set up, not a RCA unbalanced set up. So I have to get some help hooking everything up and can’t do that until the move is done Tuesday. Eli said well just go buy a digital board, sure Eli, you give me the $15k a Wheatstone console costs and I’ll be on the phone to BSW and have one immediately. Since the club don’t have that kind of green and I don’t right now in this move relocate mode, what we got is what we got.
So we have rescheduled until a week from Friday to do our test run with the power of Comcast being the carrier.
If you just thought you knew trucker/gearhead style radio, you ain’t heard what we have planned for HazzardAyre. HazzardAyre is shifting to gear 13, air brakes off and the wolf, is tearing up the Cat.
